Hope Counseling Center partners with affiliated specialty counselors to expand access to focused, Medicaid and cash-pay services in areas such as trauma, assessment, consultation, and court-connected clinical needs. These counselors provide services through Hope as independent contractors while maintaining their own professional judgment, licensure, and clinical responsibility.

Chelsea Barnett
PLPC
Chelsea Barnett, PLPC, graduated with honors from Evangel University, where she received the Award of Excellence in Undergraduate Studies and served for two years as president of the honors society.
Chelsea is passionate about deep, integrative work—the kind that helps people uncover the parts of themselves they have learned to hide, silence, or push away. She believes therapy is most transformative when the therapeutic relationship feels safe, attuned, and accepting, and she works intentionally to build that foundation with every client.
She is a strong fit for adults who are new to therapy, as well as those who have tried therapy before but felt stuck, unseen, or unchanged. Chelsea is not afraid to gently challenge clients when needed, and she supports them in moving toward a more connected, confident, and whole version of themselves.
Many people come to Chelsea carrying anger, grief, loneliness, dissatisfaction with life or relationships, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, trauma, identity concerns, or patterns that feel out of control. She offers a space where clients can finally slow down, feel understood, and begin to heal.
Hope Counseling Center offers telehealth (virtual) mental health appointments to those residing in Missouri.
Chelsea's preferred age range is 13 years and older.
